We Are ILL, in collaboration with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.'s Chicago Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter, invites you to Sisterly Submitted, an empowering evening of sisterhood and education.
Together, we’ll explore what multiple sclerosis (MS) is, how it affects the Black community, and why it’s important to keep these conversations flowing.
Through Sisterly Submitted, a healthcare professional will break down MS — its symptoms, signs to look for, and how African Americans are being diagnosed at the same rates as their white counterparts.
You’ll also hear directly from an MS thriver, sharing her journey from diagnosis to daily resilience.
Because when one of us shines a light, we all see the path clearer. This event is free — food and beverages will be served.
