We’re just a couple of weeks away from 2023 and before we get all excited for the new year, it’s important that we reflect on what we accomplished in 2022.
We Are ILL’s small but mighty team accelerated our efforts to better serve our community by providing robust and relevant programming about the topics that matter most to us, such as clinical trails and self-advocacy. We also stepped our game up and welcomed new board members and new team members, and celebrated our fifth anniversary!
We created compelling content to celebrate all the things: African-American Music Appreciation Month, BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month, Black Business Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, and Health Literacy Month.
And we’d be remiss to forget mentioning our epic signature event, Wellness Week(end) — our first-ever, in-person retreat. We’re still smiling from the sheer dopeness of it all.
2022 was nothing short of amazing, and we’re so grateful to have a whole legion of supporters behind us! We love y’all. Stay tuned for an awesome 2023.
