Unboxing Our ILLume Packages

It has long been a dream of ours to provide our sisters in MS with a one-of-a-kind gift box filled with items to support them on their MS journeys. We’re so glad that our dream was realized in time for MS Awareness Month this year.

These care packages were created to bring a little light and love to our community of Black women living with multiple sclerosis, and we are so grateful for the outpouring of support we’ve received.

Meet Moyna, Our Ambassador

This chronic illness advocate, MS warrior and social media editor is the voice behind @lifewithmoyna, and now Moyna John-Caraballo, is sharing her wisdom with our community. Moyna is our Ambassador focusing on content creation. You’ll see her sharing helpful tips for thriving in spite of MS. Here’s a little more about Moyna, in her own words:

“I’m a wife and mom. I live in Queens, NYC. I was diagnosed with MS on December 31, 2019. I used to be a paralegal. But, after sharing my journey online, I used that experience to become a social media editor for Parents (formerly known as Parents Magazine). I love spending time with my family and friends.”
