Our Word of the Year Is …

Happy New Year, We Are ILL Family! We hope your 2023 is off to an amazing start! We have big plans for this year, and one way we’ve set our intentions is through finding our Word of the Year. When we think about all that we have in store for 2023, it’s very much giving “ELEVATE.”

We’re committed to elevating our standards, elevating our impact, and elevating our community. We want to better serve you by helping alleviate some of the challenges that come with living with multiple sclerosis, as well as going above and beyond to create moments for you to feel seen, heard and valued. And don’t get us started on our signature event, Wellness Week(end). This year’s retreat will be bigger and better. (More on that below!)

Mark your calendars, friends! Wellness Week(end) is returning in October. We’ll be back in Atlanta, bringing you a one-of-a-kind retreat complete with phenomenal learning opportunities from authorities on the Black MS experience and moments to invest in your well-being. Best of all, we’ll be bringing your favorite sisters in MS together under one roof. We’ll be sharing more details in the coming months. We can’t wait to see y’all!

We know that Black patients have better health outcomes under the care of Black medical professionals. We want to support our community in receiving the best care possible by providing a resource that connects them directly to Black neurologists and MS specialists based in the United States.
